Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) to ensure proper functionality and identify potential issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to building systems promptly and effectively.
  • Ensure the safety and security of students, employees, and school assets at all times.
  • To assist the manager to oversee the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Contribute to facility upgrade and renovation projects, including data gathering, providing recommendations, preparing reports, and assisting with contractor coordination.
  • Ensure full compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and relevant industry standards.
  • To Create, implement, check and maintain accurate records and reports of maintenance activities, repairs, and facility modifications.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, external contractors, and maintenance personnel to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Assist in preparing, tracking, and monitoring budgets for maintenance and operational expenditures.
  • Contribute to long-term facility planning for improvements and sustainability.
  • To assist the manager to lead and manage internal maintenance/custodial teams.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Building Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in facilities management or property management.
  • Experience in an international school or educational institution is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is a strong advantage.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Knowledge of project management, building system and/or health & safety is preferable.
  • Able to work independently and as part of the team.
