Roles, Responsibilities, and Job Expectations

General Responsibility:

We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Program Manager to oversee and manage key account-related initiatives. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams across different countries, managing customer change requests, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.The ideal candidate will have a solid background in project/program management, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing multiple tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution:
  • Develop and implement project plans to address key account-related objectives.
  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation.

  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies

  • Customer Change Request Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for handling customer change requests.
  • Coordinate change requests from internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with sales and application teams to prioritize change requests and effectively communicate them to customers.

  • Follow guidance from the global product manager to ensure change requests are handled according to strategic priorities.

  • Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key account stakeholders and product managers.
  • Understand customer needs and expectations to deliver exceptional service.

  • Provide regular updates and reports on project status and key deliverables.

  • Performance Tracking and Reporting:

  • Monitor project performance against KPIs and objectives.
  • Analyze data and provide insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Authorities

  • Team Management: To manage and coordinate the key account team members, providing guidance, support, and supervision to ensure the successful execution of the project/change request.

Key Competencies and Skills

  • Experience in managing change requests and handling escalations is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Special Skills/ Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline.

  • Professional certification such as PMP, higher or equivalent.

  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in program/project management, preferably in key account management or customer-focused roles.
  • Experience or knowledgeable in manufacturing processes, Vacuum-valve, Semi-conductor process/application.
  • Proficiency in German language is an added advantage.
