Main Responsibilities

1. RPA Maintenance and Enhancement

  • Maintain and troubleshoot existing RPA workflows to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Optimize and enhance automation scripts for improved performance and reliability.
  • Implement updates to accommodate changes in business rules, applications, or infrastructure.
  • Ensure all RPA solutions remain compliant with security, audit, and governance standards.
  • Document updates, fixes, and enhancements for future reference.

2. User Focus and Support Operation

  • Monitor RPA bots' execution, identify exceptions, and resolve errors promptly.
  • Manage bot schedules, capacity, and orchestrator configurations.
  • Provide first-line support for business users on RPA-related issues.
  • Coordinate with IT teams for system, network, and access-related support.
  • Track and report RPA bot performance metrics to stakeholders.

3. RPA Project (Development & Implementation)

  • Collaborate with business analysts and process owners to assess automation opportunities.
  • Design, develop, and test new RPA workflows based on approved process designs.
  • Conduct unit, integration, and UAT testing to ensure solution accuracy and robustness.
  • Implement best practices for exception handling, logging, and recovery mechanisms.
  • Deploy RPA bots into production and provide post-go-live support.
  • Prepare technical documentation, workflow diagrams, and knowledge transfer materials

Requirements

1. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • UiPath Certified Advanced RPA Developer (UiARD), Blue Prism Developer Certification, Automation Anywhere Certified Advanced RPA Professional or related Professional RPA Certification is preferred but not compulsory

2. Experience

  • 2–4 years of experience in RPA development or automation engineering
  • Hands-on experience with at least one leading RPA platform (UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere).
  • Experience in scripting/programming languages (e.g., Python, VBScript, JavaScript, C#) is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with process analysis, workflow design, and system integration.

3. Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of RPA architecture, components, and development lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in using RPA control rooms/orchestrators for deployment and monitoring.
  • Understanding of database queries (SQL) and API integration.
  • Ability to troubleshoot production issues quickly and effectively.

  • 5-day work week (9 am - 6 pm)
  • Working Location: HLA Holdings Sdn Bhd,Level 1, Tower B, PJ City Development, No. 15A, Jalan 219, Seksyen 51A, 46100 Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
