Job Title: Business Analyst – RPA / Digital Automation

Job Summary

We are looking for a Business Analyst with strong exposure to banking operations and digital automation (RPA). The role focuses on analysing business processes, identifying automation opportunities, and working closely with business stakeholders and RPA developers to deliver process improvements and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

  • Work with business unit stakeholders to map current processes and assess suitability for automation
  • Support initiatives to build and promote a digital culture within the bank

Business Performance & Process Improvement

  • Analyse business processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and automation opportunities
  • Redesign processes for Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and process improvement
  • Document clear and detailed Business Requirements
  • Prepare high-quality Solution Design Documents (SDD) with technical details understandable by RPA developers
  • Collaborate with process owners, stakeholders, and RPA developers to deliver automation initiatives
  • Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Conduct workshops to familiarize process owners and end users with newly automated processes
  • Provide post-production consultancy support as an SME during incidents or issues

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical field (Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or similar)
  • Exposure to programming or digital-related modules preferred
  • 2–3 years of working knowledge in Banking Business / Operations
  • Agile certification (e.g. Scrum) – desirable but not mandatory

Technical & Functional Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python (advantage but not mandatory).
  • Familiarity with RPA solutions, preferably Automation Anywhere (A360).
  • Strong attention to detail in documenting business requirements and workflows.

Soft Skills & Competencies

  • Strong interest in technology and its application in banking operations
  • Ability to manage and communicate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Good problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset
  • Willingness to explore, share, and communicate new ideas within the RPA team
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks within agreed timelines
  • Provide timely progress updates on RPA initiatives
