Our quality team is primarily focused on driving improved systems and tools and providing a consistent and positive relationship with our business partners. We are searching for a self-directed, highly motivated engineer to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to, and develop expertise in working across teams inside and outside of one of Texas Instruments. The selected candidate will be given assignments and projects that are meaningful, challenging and that provide an outstanding experience, while contributing to the success of Texas Instruments.

Responsibilities Include

  • Responsible for driving alignment of both TI and customer quality requirements for products, processes and services delivered by TI to specific customers or internal product groups
  • Serves as customer's advocate inside TI to drive compliance with all customer quality and reliability requirements and commitments
  • Frequently interacts with customers and TI cross functional team for problem solving / quality improvement activities
  • These interactions often are with regard to potential, real or perceived customer quality or reliability concerns arising from technical, administrative or logistical events
  • Receives assignments in the form of broad objectives and establishes detailed action plans to meet objectives
  • Directs, manages and coordinates activities of functional groups outside of the quality organization to achieve customer quality requirements.

Qualifications
Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or other related engineering degree
  • Minimum Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA, or higher

Preferred Qualifications

  • Coursework providing knowledge and background in semiconductor processing, process control methodology, and/or device failure analysis is added advantage
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
  • Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
  • Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
  • Ability to work effectively in an interrupt-driven, fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships
