Job Description:

To be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing strategies, processes, and

technologies related to the secure management of user identities and their access to resources

within an BPMB's IT environment. PAM specialist play a critical role in ensuring proper access

controls, security, and compliance across various systems and applications.

1) Strategy and Planning:

Developing and implementing an PAM strategy that aligns with the organization's security goals,

compliance requirements, and business needs. Collaborating with stakeholders to understand

identity- related requirements and challenges.

2) User Identity Lifecycle Management:

Managing the entire lifecycle of privileges identities, including provisioning, authentication,

authorization, and deprovisioning. Implementing processes for onboarding, role changes, and

offboarding of users.

3) Access Control:

Designing and implementing access control models that enforce the principle of least privilege.

Defining and managing role-based access control (RBAC) and attribute-based access control

(ABAC) policies.

4) Single Sign-On (SSO) and Authentication:

Implementing SSO solution to provide users with seamless access to multiple applications with a

single

set of credentials. Selecting and configuring authentication methods, such as multi-factor

authentication (MFA). Managing directory services (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP) to ensure

accurate and up-to-date user information. Integrating active directory services with other

application services

5) Governance and Compliance:

Enforcing compliance with security policies, industry regulations, and privacy laws. Conducting

regular access reviews and audits to ensure appropriate access levels.

6) Vendor Management:

Managing vendor relationships, including updates, patches, and support.

7) Incident Response and Monitoring:

Monitoring user activities and access patterns to detect and respond to suspicious or

unauthorized behavior. Participating in incident response efforts related to identity and access

security incidents.

8) Documentation and Training:

Documenting PAM processes, configurations, and procedures for internal reference and

compliance purposes. Providing training to employees and stakeholders on PAM best practices

and security

awareness.

9) Continuous Improvement:

Staying informed about emerging PAM technologies, vulnerabilities, and industry trends.

Continuously improving PAM processes and strategies to adapt to evolving security challenges
