Business Development ExecutiveJob Overview

The Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and contributing to overall revenue growth. This role involves market research, lead generation, prospecting, proposal development, and managing client engagements to support the company's business strategy.

Key Responsibilities1. Market Research & Lead Generation

  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and new market opportunities.
  • Stay updated on market developments and business conditions to support strategic planning.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Deliver excellent after-sales support to enhance customer experience and strengthen retention.
  • Develop and execute client retention strategies to reduce churn and increase loyalty.

3. Proposal & Presentation Development

  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
  • Customize pitch materials to address specific client objectives and pain points.

4. Negotiation & Deal Closing

  • Lead negotiations, handle pricing discussions, and close sales deals.
  • Ensure smooth handover to operations, delivery, or account management teams post-contract.

5. Collaboration with Internal Teams

  • Work closely with marketing, operations, and product teams to ensure seamless client experience.
  • Track and report sales activities, pipeline updates, KPIs, and market insights regularly.

6. Pipeline Management & Reporting

  • Use CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) to manage leads, track progress, and update client interactions.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and maintain up-to-date pipeline records.

Knowledge and Skill RequirementsRequirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
  • 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Goal-driven, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Good understanding of business development processes, market dynamics, and client relationship management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is required to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply — training will be provided.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2, RM4,500.00 per month
