Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Country Manager to oversee our operations in Malaysia and Singapore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, develop new sales channel online and offline, building and nurturing client relationships, and ensuring high-quality service delivery to customers. This leadership position requires a strategic thinker with strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the local technology landscape.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Business Development:
- Develop and execute comprehensive business plans to achieve revenue and market share targets in Malaysia and Singapore.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, strategic alliances, and acquisitions, to expand brand presence and drive growth in the region.
- Consistently monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to capitalize on emerging business opportunities.
- Dive the sales with inspiration and "think out of box" ideas.
2. Sales and Client Management:
- Lead a high-performing sales team, providing clear direction, coaching, and support to achieve sales objectives.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to develop effective go-to-market strategies and ensure successful product launches.
3. Operations and Team Management:
- Oversee all aspects of the company's operations in Malaysia and Singapore, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and adherence to quality standards.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the local team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence, streamline processes, and enhance customer experience.
4. Financial Management:
- Develop and manage annual budgets, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, implement corrective actions when necessary, and report on key performance indicators to senior management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, e-commerce, digital marketing or a related field.
- Proven track record of successful business development and sales achievements in the past, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in managerial roles.
- Deep understanding of the healthcare, skincare industry landscape in Malaysia and Singapore, including market dynamics, trends, and competitive landscape.
- Strong leadership and self starter skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams towards achieving common goals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels of the organization.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate market insights into effective business strategies.
- Solid financial acumen and experience in managing budgets and driving financial performance.
- Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and willingness to travel when required.
