About the role

Shark Marketing is seeking an ambitious and driven Sales Executive to join our dynamic team in Baling, Kedah. As a Sales Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and revenue by identifying and converting new sales opportunities. This full-time position offers the chance to be part of a fast-paced and innovative marketing agency and contribute to the company's continued success.

What you'll be doing

  1. Prospecting and generating new sales leads through cold-calling, networking and other outreach activities
  2. Conducting sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients
  3. Negotiating and closing sales contracts within set targets and timeframes
  4. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and drive repeat business
  5. Providing feedback and insights to the sales and marketing teams to help inform product development and strategy
  6. Staying up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity and new products/services

What we're looking for

  1. Proven track record of success in a sales role, preferably within the marketing or advertising industry
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers
  3. Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a target-driven and results-oriented approach
  4. Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  5. Proficient in using sales and CRM software to manage leads and track performance
  6. Relevant tertiary qualification in marketing, business or a related field is preferred
