Job Description:

  • Design, configure, and implement SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) for domains such as Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance, or Custom Objects.
  • Deliver end-to-end MDG solutions, including data modeling, UI modeling, workflows, BRF+, and validation rules.
  • Collaborate with business users to understand requirements and translate them into MDG functional specifications.
  • Execute Master Data Management (MDM) activities, including data harmonization, cleansing, enrichment, and consolidation.
  • Establish data governance processes and ensure compliance with data quality standards.
  • Support data migration activities, including mapping, validation, and cutover processes.
  • Perform SIT/UAT testing and troubleshoot issues related to master data or MDG configuration.
  • Work closely with technical teams (ABAP, PI/PO, CPI) to integrate MDG with other systems.
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation (FS, TS, process flows, configuration documents).
  • Provide user training and post–go-live support.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in SAP MDG modules (MDG-M, MDG-S, MDG-F, MDG-C, or custom objects).
  • Proficient in data modeling, change request processes, derivation & validation rules, search configuration, and workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with BRF+, Web Dynpro/FPM, and UI modeling.
  • Solid understanding of MDM concepts: data quality, data governance, cleansing, enrichment, and standardization.
  • Experience integrating MDG with SAP ECC/S/4HANA and external systems.
  • Bonus skills: SAP BTP, SAP CPI, SAP Data Services (BODS), Information Steward.
  • Strong analytical skills, documentation abilities, and stakeholder communication.
  • Ability to work in project-based environments (Agile/Waterfall).
