About the role

We are seeking ambitious and detail-oriented Audit Assistants to join our dynamic team at MW.SG PLT. As an Audit Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our external audit engagements, ensuring the highest standards of financial reporting and compliance. This full-time position is based in Johor Bahru, Johor, offering you the opportunity to contribute to the success of our growing organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist in planning, executing and documenting audit procedures in accordance with professional standards and the firm's quality control policies
  • Gather and analyse financial data, prepare working papers, and document audit findings
  • Participate in the review of financial statements, accounting records, and internal control systems
  • Collaborate with the audit team to identify and address risks and issues
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of audit work performed
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit processes and practices

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • 0-2 years of experience in external audit or a similar role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and team members
  • Proficiency in using audit software and Microsoft Office applications
  • A commitment to professional development and a desire to grow within the field of external auditing
