Job Overview
Unipac Group is seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment while ensuring full compliance with Malaysian electrical laws, codes, and Suruhanjaya Tenaga requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, performing timely and safe repairs.
- Ensure all work complies with Malaysian Electrical Regulations, Suruhanjaya Tenaga standards, and workplace safety requirements.
- Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and materials used.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, contractors, and stakeholders on various projects.
- Promote and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience as an electrician or in a related electrical role.
- Valid electrical certification or license as required under Malaysian law.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, safety regulations, and best practices.
- Ability to read, interpret, and work from technical documents and drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
