Production Executive

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Quality Management & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 standards and maintain QMS integrity during system updates.

• Conduct internal audits, risk assessments, and report QMS performance to management.

• Oversee documentation control and record-keeping for ISO compliance.

• Address customer feedback/complaints and promote a customer-focused culture.

• Champion a culture of quality, safety, and customer focus across production teams.

• Conduct regular internal audits, risk assessments, and root cause analyses; report findings and improvement plans to management.

• Ensure adherence to quality control procedures by monitoring production quality, conducting inspections, and taking corrective actions to maintain product standards

2. Production Planning & Operations

• Plan and manage daily production activities to meet delivery schedules and output targets.

• Monitor production efficiency, analyses performance data, and implement corrective actions.

• Ensure raw material traceability (yarn, twine, polymers) and verify gearing data for product specifications.

• Liaise with procurement and warehouse to maintain material availability for uninterrupted production.

• Verify, review, and approve all production records, including batch logs, process parameters, and output reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with quality and regulatory standards- Validate and sign off on gearing data and machine/tooling setup parameters before production runs to guarantee adherence to approved specifications and maintain consistent product quality.

3. Process & Equipment Management

• Oversee daily operations of extrusion and rope production lines, ensuring optimal machine performance and minimal downtime.

• Verify material flow records to ensure output matches IGT quantities (Extrusion & Rope sections).

• Collaborate with mechanics to validate new gearing data for product requirements.

• Prepare annual preventive maintenance schedules and budget proposals for both sections.

• Analyze and optimize material flow, minimizing waste and maximizing yield through Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.

4. Sustainability & EHS (Environment, Health & Safety)

• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting safety audits and enforcing best practices

• Drive initiatives for energy efficiency, water conservation, and reduction of carbon footprint in line with global sustainability trends.

• Ensure compliance with local and international EHS regulations; conduct safety training and enforce best practices.

AUTHORITIES

1. Operational Control

• Authorize adjustments to production processes to resolve operational issues or improve efficiency.

• Approve daily production plans and material requisitions (spare parts, raw materials).

• Halt production for quality deviations and initiate corrective actions.

2. Team Leadership and Development

• Hire, train, and evaluate production staff.

• Enforce disciplinary measures and 5S standards within the team.

3. Safety and Compliance

• Enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

• Authorize safety audits, risk assessments, and necessary interventions.

• Stop production in the event of safety violations or hazardous conditions

4. Quality Assurance

-Enforce and authorize quality control procedures and corrective actions.

-Approve the release or rejection of finished products based on quality inspections.

-Initiate root cause analysis and corrective measures for recurring quality issues

5. Resource Management

• Allocate manpower and assign tasks within the production team.

• Request and authorize procurement of raw materials, tools, and equipment necessary for production

COMPETENCY

Minimum Education :

Diploma or degree in engineering, production management, or related field

Experience in production planning, quality control, and team management, preferably inmanufacturing environments

Minimum Skill :

Proficient in data analysis, MS Office, and familiarity with production software, ERP systems, and Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is advantageous

Strong organizational, leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills

Minimum Experience :

Experience in production planning, quality control, and team management, preferably in

manufacturing environments

Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations relevant to manufacturing

Pay: RM4, RM5,000.00 per month
