About the Role

Kinabalu Pine Resorts Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Waitress to join our team in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. This full-time position is a crucial part of our hospitality operations, ensuring our guests receive exceptional service and an enjoyable dining experience.

What You'll Be Doing

  1. Greeting and welcoming guests with a friendly and professional manner
  2. Providing efficient and attentive table service, including taking food and drink orders, delivering meals, and clearing tables
  3. Maintaining a clean and organised work area, ensuring tables and dining space are well-presented
  4. Communicating effectively with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery
  5. Handling cash transactions, processing payments, and reconciling sales
  6. Adhering to all health, safety, and hygiene standards
  7. Providing exceptional customer service and resolving any guest concerns or complaints

What We're Looking For

  1. Previous experience as a Waitress or in a similar customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide a warm and welcoming service to guests
  3. Strong time management and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  4. Good numeracy skills and attention to detail for handling cash and reconciling sales
  5. Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  6. Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues
