Responsibilities

  • Conducting internal Halal audits, managing Halal documentation, and ensuring compliance with Halal standards
  • Application and Halal Certification for all KOI Café Malaysia outlets
  • Liaise with Halal Certification department (e.g. Jakim) on all related matters
  • Liaise with KOI Café Malaysia Operation, Supply Chain, HR and other departments to meet all Halal compliance
  • Liaise and responsible for Supplier's product Halal Certification application & renewal
  • Manage and track all Halal processing status
  • Ensure all Halal documents are up to date
  • Conduct Quality Control audits in line with operations

Requirements

  • Minimum of Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Halal Management, Food Science, Food Technology or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in related field
  • Understanding of Halal standards, QC/QA standards
  • Knowledge of Halal certificate requirements, MYeHALAL portal and MS 1500:2019 Halal Food
  • Possess good negotiation, communication skills, problem-solving abilities and interpersonal skills
