Job Title: Production Supervisor

We are seeking a responsible and hardworking Production Supervisor to lead our factory team. This role involves managing daily production activities, enforcing safety standards, overseeing material flow, and ensuring the factory operates smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities1. Production Management

  • Supervise the production team and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Manage team productivity and efficiency, supporting workers to meet daily targets.
  • Ensure full compliance with safety rules and operational guidelines.
  • Conduct hygiene inspections to maintain a clean and safe factory environment.
  • Manage incoming shipments, ensuring accurate quantity checks and proper receiving of materials.
  • Oversee inventory management for machine spare parts and consumables.
  • Handle procurement and tracking of factory consumables.
  • Monitor production output and report productivity performance to management.
  • Track material shipment progress and ensure timely availability.

2. Documentation, Policies & Training

  • Maintain and update production process documentation and filing.
  • Liaise with the Safety and Environmental Committee to ensure compliance with Malaysian laws such as OSHA 1994 and EQA 1974.
  • Train workers on equipment usage, PPE handling, and adherence to safety guidelines.
  • Coordinate with the Competent Person/OSH Coordinator to organize safety and environmental training sessions and drills.
  • Apply safety, environmental policies, and SOPs to maintain a compliant and hazard-free production floor.

3. Building & Facility Management

  • Assist in reviewing and planning factory layout improvements.
  • Support the maintenance and repair of factory, laboratory, and office facilities.

4. Team Management

  • Assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Conduct regular team meetings on safety, quality, and operational updates.

5. Administrative Support

  • Troubleshoot and resolve Wi-Fi or connectivity issues as needed.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in planning, fabrication, or production operations.
  • Proficient in English and Mandarin (written and spoken).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a positive working attitude and ability to work independently.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
