Job Summary

An Assistant Project Engineer is to provide technical support for the planning, execution, and monitoring of production projects. This role assists the Engineering Manager in managing project timelines, budgets, and quality control to ensure that components are produced efficiently and meet all specifications.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Assist with mechanical, electrical, or process engineering tasks related to production and engineering.
  • Participate in the setup, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of equipment.
  • Prepare and update engineering documents, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and assembly drawings.
  • Take responsibility for the First Article (FA) and related engineering documents.
  • Maintain tooling records.
  • Maintain documentation and records for materials.

  • Prepare and/or follow up on engineering samples.

  • Perform other duties assigned by the superior.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Certificate or Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
  • Strong learning ability, sense of responsibility, and a spirit of teamwork.
  • At least two (2) years of relevant work experience, with knowledge of die-cut components, wire harness manufacturing, and silk screen printing being an added advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to adapt to fast-paced and dynamic working environments.
  • Good communication and analytical skills are a plus.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
