Job Description

· Bill of Materials (BOM) maintenance

· Prepare and analyze inventory costing and transactions related reports;

· Collecting and analyzing data about a company's operational costs

· Setting standard costs of manufactured goods

· Developing and analyzing cost standards

· Performing account reconciliations

· Recommending changes to the company's processes and policies to reduce cost and maximize profit

· Advising executives and upper management on appropriate costing based on financial data

· Provide cost-related insights and recommendations to support strategic planning and decision-making

· Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of cost management

· Conduct inventory cycle counts and provide support for monthly and annual physical inventory processes.

· Ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

At least 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in cost accounting, preferably in the manufacturing

Thorough understanding of cost accounting principles, methods, and best practices

Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and reporting requirements

Detail-oriented, meticulous, and able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines

Possess good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills

Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Ability to communicate in English, Malay, and Mandarin is an added    advantage
