Our client is a food solutions provider operating across Malaysia. Their mission is clear: to empower chefs and kitchens across the Food & Beverage industry with consistent, high-quality products that simplify operations. They provide the solutions that help kitchens reduce prep time, control costs, and minimize spoilage, ensuring delicious results every time.

The client is expanding their Sales Department and seeking ambitious, highly motivated Junior Sales Executives to drive new business. We are looking for strong communication skills, a good knack for presenting information and someone who enjoys listening to and understanding customer problems. This is your chance to learn the B2B sales cycle from the ground up, reporting directly to the Regional Manager.

What You'll Learn and Do:
  • Business Hunting 101: You will be trained on the full product range and to actively identify and acquire new customers within the Food & Beverage sector in Central Malaysia. The Sales Manager and team will work to support you and conduct regular reviews to build you as a sales exec.
  • Segment Exploration: Learn to partner with diverse establishments that value efficiency and a streamlined supply chain. This includes:

  • Dynamic Dining: Casual Western concepts, lively pubs, bars, and expanding cafes.

  • Volume Institutions: Mid-range hotels, busy food courts, and large-scale catering operations.
  • Specialized Facilities: Exploring hospitals, international schools, and industrial kitchens.
  • Consultative Selling: Engage with chefs, F&B managers, and procurement teams to understand their daily pain points (like ingredient inconsistency or high costs). Your job is to listen and propose solutions.
  • Product Showcase & Demos: Master the art of presenting the client's full range of food products. You'll learn to demonstrate hands-on how their solutions provide consistent taste, reduce waste, and simplify kitchen operations.
  • Build Your Own Territory: Get guidance on how to proactively research customer menus and build your own business development list from scratch.
  • Team Coordination: Work closely with the supportive Logistics and Operations teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and timely deliveries—you'll be the bridge between the customer and the warehouse.
  • Sales Tracking: Learn professional sales habits by diligently tracking customer interactions and progress, participating in weekly sales meetings.

  • Passion for Food and Customer Problems is Key: A genuine interest in culinary arts, baking, or food ingredients is a nice advantage We value this understanding—it helps you connect instantly with chefs and F&B processes. On top of that if you are someone who thrives on listening to customer pain points and can connect problems to value, this may be the opportunity to help you grow further.
  • Minimum Qualification: Diploma holder at minimum. (No extensive sales experience required—strong interest to apply oneself)
  • The Right Attitude: A "can-do" mentality with a drive to learn quickly. You should be proactive, resilient, and possess strong problem-solving skills.
  • People Skills: You are a natural communicator, not shy, and enjoy building rapport and creating a good first impression.
  • Resilience: Someone who can handle rejections in a positive manner, and has a bit of thick skin.
  • Basic Tech Skills: Comfortable with basic MS Office or willing to learn simple tracking/quoting on Excel.
  • Language: Basic English proficiency to communicate effectively with the team and customers.
