General Manager | Up to RM20,000 | SenaiPosition: General ManagerSalary Package: RM16,000 – RM 20,000Company Background: Manufacturer of building materialWorking days : 5days / WeekWorking Hours: 08:00 – 17:00 (Monday – Friday)Lunch Hour : 12:30pm-1:30pmAnnual Leave:14 days (5 years)Probation Period: 3–6 monthsMedical Benefits: Panel clinic or claimable (max RM60/visit, capped at RM600/year)Other Benefits: Free parkingKey Responsibilities:Operations ManagementOversee daily factory operations including production planning, scheduling, and execution.Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery timelines are consistently met.Implement lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives.Leadership & Team ManagementLead, mentor, and manage cross-functional teams including production, engineering, maintenance, QA/QC, warehouse, and HR.Foster a high-performance culture with clear KPIs and accountability.Conduct regular performance reviews and talent development plans.Budgeting & Cost ControlPrepare and manage factory budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement controls to minimize waste and inefficiencies.Quality Assurance & ComplianceEnsure strict adherence to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols.Lead internal audits and support external inspections or certifications.Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues.Supply Chain & LogisticsCoordinate with procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure smooth material flow and inventory control.Optimize inbound and outbound logistics to meet customer delivery expectations.Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)Champion a safe working environment and enforce Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies.Lead incident investigations and implement preventive measures.JB Sales TeamCollaborate closely with the JB Sales Team to align production capabilities with market demand and customer requirements.Support sales forecasting, order fulfilments, and customer service excellence.Monitor sales performance and provide operational insights to improve customer satisfaction and revenue growth.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field.MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.Experience10 years and above experience in building material business related, with at least more than 5 years in a senior leadership role.Proven track record in managing large to mid-size factory operations and leading diverse teams.Skills & CompetenciesStrong leadership and people management skills.Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical abilities.Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and quality systems.Expected to be hands-on and visible on the production floor.Job Type: Full-timePay: RM16, RM20,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
