The role

Worldgate Express Services Sdn Bhd is seeking a Freight Forwarding Sales Executive to join our dynamic team in Puchong, Selangor. As a Freight Forwarding Sales Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our freight and cargo forwarding business. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career development within our expanding organisation.

Key responsibilities

  1. Proactively identify and develop new sales leads and opportunities within the freight and cargo forwarding industry
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure high customer satisfaction and retention
  3. Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring the best possible outcomes for the business
  4. Provide excellent customer service and support to clients throughout the freight forwarding process
  5. Collaborate with the operations team to ensure the seamless execution of freight and cargo deliveries
  6. Contribute to the development of sales strategies and initiatives to expand our market share
  7. Continuously stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales or business development role within the freight forwarding or logistics industry
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and internal stakeholders
  3. Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities to close deals and manage client expectations
  4. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
  5. Familiarity with freight forwarding processes, documentation, and industry regulations
  6. Proficient in using relevant sales and customer relationship management (CRM) tools
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to contribute to the overall success of the organisation
