RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Attending to all matters pertaining to trademark and copyright, including their formalities, prosecution and/or opposition matters
  • Attending to filings and correspondence with the Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia (MyIPO)
  • Attending to clients' queries and correspondences
  • Monitoring and fulfilling deadlines
  • Attending to general paperwork of the files

REQUIREMENTS

  • Candidates must possess IP working experience of 1 year or more
  • A bachelor's degree in any field. A law degree is an added advantage but not required.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Mandarin is a must in order to communicate with clients.
  • Organized, good time management, meticulous and with a keen eye for details
  • Individuals that are motivated, proactive, resourceful and team player
  • Committed to building a long-lasting career in IP
