We're hiring a Finance Data Analyst who actually knows how to work with data — not someone who only makes pretty dashboards.

What You'll Do

You'll be the person who keeps our finance data clean, accurate, and flowing correctly across systems. Your day will involve:

Data Mapping & Validation

  • Maintain and validate finance master data (company codes, cost centres, accounts, mappings).
  • Perform mapping using logic (e.g., last 4 digits).
  • Handle reference data (project codes, exchange rates).
  • Support SIT/UAT by reviewing data quality and fixes.

Data Transformation & Automation

  • Clean and transform raw datasets (dates, text, formats).
  • Build efficient Excel logic (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, formulas, pivots).
  • Automate repetitive steps with Power Query / Power Automate / macros.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Build dashboards and reports in Power BI.
  • Provide insights for stakeholders across Finance, LBUs, and Shared Services.
  • Support Level 2 data issues and BAU activities.

Data Governance

  • Help define golden sources for finance data.
  • Ensure data ownership, maintenance workflows, and governance practices.
  • Coordinate with LBU finance teams and system administrators.

What You Need to Bring

We're not looking for a theoretical analyst — we want someone who can execute.

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, mapping logic).
  • Power BI experience (data cleaning + dashboard building).
  • Ability to transform dirty data (dates, formats, text fields).
  • Experience with finance data structures (cost centre, GL, hierarchies).
  • Comfort working with master data, reference data, and transaction data.
  • Ability to automate manual tasks.

Preferred Background

  • Finance, Accounting, Data Science, Information Systems, Mathematics.
  • Exposure to ERP systems or EPM tools (SAP, Oracle, Workday Finance, Hyperion, Tagetik, etc.).
  • Experience in projects (SIT/UAT) and BAU environments.
