About the Team

The AI Data Service and Operations team ensures our platforms remain safe, creative, and trusted. We support AI model training, policy implementation, and ecosystem governance across TikTok and other global products.

We are expanding our QA leadership in the Eco Governance space to enhance alignment, accuracy, and scalability of quality systems across APAC.

About the Role

As the APAC Quality Lead, you will lead and scale the regional QA organization, managing both internal and vendor teams to drive excellence in policy alignment, RCA, and quality management for ecosystem-related projects.

You will partner closely with Policy, Product, and Data Science teams to ensure our quality processes not only protect platform integrity but also enable continuous improvement in AI model training and overall ecosystem health.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading the team of Content Quality Analysts (CQA), responsible for monitoring and analyzing Quality Metrics and Trends.
• Develop Strategies and Processes for Quality Improvement to ensure the reliability of Quality Assurance.
• Design and implement training programs for Content Quality Analysts (CQA) to ensure they have clear objectives, knowledge and skills to carry out their responsibilities effectively.
• Conduct periodic performance evaluations for Content Quality Analysts (CQA) and provide effective coaching to enhance performance outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine Product & Operational needs and area of improvement for optimization.
• Provide weekly or periodic reports on Quality Analysis and insights sharing for stakeholders.
• Support on monitoring Content Quality Analysts' (CQA's) workload and forecast required CQA manpower.
• Cowork with stakeholders on ad-hoc tasks and initiate if required.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above, with strong proficiency in English and Mandarin as the role requires interacting with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
• 5+ years of experience of Quality Assurance, including 2+ years leading QA teams across multiple countries or vendors, with solid BPO and operations experience.
• Strong QA domain expertise, including QA metrics, content and data analysis, RCA methodology, policy alignment, and structured reporting.
• Demonstrated leadership and performance management skills, capable of motivating teams and driving high-quality outcomes in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration abilities, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency with moderation tools, content management systems, and people/operations management platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AI data annotation, golden set creation, or model-in-the-loop QA workflows.
