Can have hierarchical / non-hierarchical responsibilities with associated people management & budgetary accountability. Strongly contributing to / leading continuous improvement actions. >5 years relevant experience - Manufacturing Production Planning & Control work focuses on managing production to optimize the use of resources and meet production schedules and standards including: •Planning and controlling production schedules and coordinating with material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials •Estimating and scheduling the human resources, tools, and equipment needed for the production process •Researching, evaluating, and recommending changes to production processes, systems, technology, or equipment to enhance organization's production capabilitiesLevel: An Experienced Professional (P2) applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. This position involves leading and managing cross-functional initiatives, identifying & executing process improvements initiatives, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESStrategy Development:· Develop and implement business operational excellence strategies aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives. Collaborate with leadership team to establish a roadmap for improving operational processes, enhancing productivity, and achieving excellence in performance.Change Management:· Lead change management efforts associated with business operationalexcellence initiatives including lean manufacturing. Effectively communicate the need for change, engage stakeholders at all levels, and drive adoption of new processes and practices. Overcome resistance to change and ensure smooth implementation of improvement initiatives.Continuous Improvement:· Lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives throughout theorganization, utilizing methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, or otherprocess improvement frameworks. Identify opportunities for process optimization, waste reduction, efficiency gains and cost reduction. Lead continuous improvement efforts by analyzing existing processes, identifying bottlenecks or inefficiencies, and implementing innovative solutions.Performance Monitoring and Analysis:· Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and monitor operational performance. Establish data-driven dashboards and reporting mechanisms to track progress and identify areas for improvement. Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization. Cross-functional Collaboration:· Collaborate with other departments such as engineering, supply chain, qualityassurance, and maintenance to align industrial operations with overall business General objectives. Coordinate efforts to ensure seamless integration of processes and effective resource utilization.Best Practices and Benchmarking:· Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices. Identifyopportunities to leverage advanced manufacturing technologies, automation, data analytics, and digital solutions to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.Training and Development:· Develop and deliver training programs on business operational excellencemethodologies, tools, and techniques. Provide coaching and mentorship toemployees at all levels to build a culture of continuous improvement.
