Role Overview

The CEO will be responsible for shaping the company's strategic direction, ensuring business growth, strengthening partnerships with insurers, and driving operational excellence. This role requires a leader from the insurance or banking sector who understands insurance products, compliance, and digital transformation from a business perspective.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership
  • Drive the development and execution of the company long-term strategic vision, ensuring alignment with the company's mission, goals, and industry trends.
  • Lead efforts to expand market share, increase shareholder value, and enhance overall competitiveness within the regulatory and corporate governance frameworks.
  • Act as the key advisor to the Board of Directors on major strategic initiatives, market opportunities, and potential risk
Operational Oversight
  • Oversee and ensure smooth coordination across all departments, with a focus on driving operational efficiency and scalability.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) to implement operational policies and procedures, ensuring they align with the company's growth objectives and compliance standards.
Business Expansion and Innovation
  • Spearhead business development efforts by identifying new markets, revenue streams, and partnership opportunities that align with the company strategic goals.
  • Champion innovation by fostering a forward-thinking culture that promotes research and development, digital transformation, and technological advancements.
Financial Stewardship
  • Work in partnership with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to ensure sound financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, with a focus on driving profitability and long-term sustainability.
  • Ensure that financial strategies support growth objectives while maintaining fiscal discipline and risk mitigation.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with key customers, investors, regulatory bodies, and industry partners.
  • Act as the face of the company, representing the company at high-level industry forums, conferences, and in dealings with government bodies to elevate the company's profile and influence.
Risk and Compliance Management
  • Oversee risk management processes to identify, assess, and mitigate potential business risks.
  • Ensure that the company adheres to industry regulations, corporate governance standards, and internal audit processes, working closely with the Internal Audit and Compliance teams to uphold transparency and accountability
Talent Development and Organizational Culture
  • Lead by example in building a high-performance culture, fostering an environment that encourages innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Champion talent development initiatives, including mentorship, succession planning, and leadership training, to ensure the organization is equipped for future challenges
Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience: 15+ years in insurance, banking, or financial services, with at least 5 years in a C-suite or senior leadership role.

Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of insurance products, regulations, and digital transformation trends.

Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive business partnerships with insurers.

Technology & Business Acumen: Comfortable working in a technology-driven environment while focusing on business growth and client needs
