The
Chief of Staff
serves as a key strategic partner to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in driving business performance, organizational effectiveness, and cross-departmental alignment.

This role requires a high degree of business acumen, operational oversight, and interpersonal skills. The Chief of Staff is responsible for managing strategic initiatives, ensuring smooth execution of the CEO's priorities, and facilitating communication between the Executive Office and other departments.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning and Execution

  • Partner with the CEO to design, plan, and implement company strategies and business objectives.
  • Translate high-level goals into actionable business plans with measurable outcomes.
  • Track and report progress on strategic initiatives, identifying risks and recommending corrective actions.
  • Prepare and review business reports, performance dashboards, and financial summaries for management meetings.

Executive Support and Coordination

  • Manage and prioritize the CEO's agenda, ensuring timely follow-up and execution of key deliverables.
  • Coordinate communication and collaboration between departments to maintain organizational alignment.
  • Prepare presentations, business proposals, and strategic documents for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Represent the CEO in meetings, discussions, and events when required.

Business Operations and Performance Management

  • Oversee key business operations to ensure efficiency and consistency in execution.
  • Support process improvement initiatives that enhance productivity and cross-functional effectiveness.
  • Assist in developing and monitoring KPIs and operational performance across departments.

Organizational Culture and Leadership Alignment

  • Promote AZEO's core values —
    Performance, Integrity, Learning, Organisational Sustainability, and Teamwork (P.I.L.O.T.)
    — throughout all business initiatives.
  • Partner with department heads to foster collaboration, engagement, and accountability.
  • Drive or support internal initiatives that strengthen company culture and team development.

External Engagement and Brand Representation

  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Business Development teams to support key corporate events, partnerships, and external communications.
  • Represent AZEO professionally in industry engagements, networking functions, and partnership discussions.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
  • Progressive experience in
    strategy, operations, or executive support
    , preferably within
    professional services
    or training industries.
  • Strong business acumen, analytical thinking, and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with strong presentation skills.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and emotional intelligence in managing confidential matters.
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver outcomes within deadlines.
