Oversee procurement, sourcing, and purchasing activities, including supplier selection, quality assurance, and price negotiations.Evaluate and enhance procurement processes, monitor inventory levels, and analyze market trends to implement innovative sourcing strategies.Develop and execute procurement strategies for raw materials and packaging used in production, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market dynamics.Lead cross -functional initiatives to optimize procurement processes and promote best practices across departments.Manage and maintain the approved supplier list for both direct and indirect procurement, assessing supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery timelines, pricing, and service levels.Ensure all procurement activities are accurately recorded and comply with relevant regulations and departmental standard operating procedures (SOPs).Maintain an up -to -date supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation within the system.Support the Halal and Quality Assurance (QA) teams in liaising with local and international suppliers regarding complaints, returns, and quality -related issues as needed.Identify key suppliers, materials, and services essential for supporting the company's strategic business objectives.Supervise junior staff, provide procurement training, and generate reports on purchasing performance for management review.Work closely with material planners to ensure procurement aligns with production schedules and forecasted demand.Collaborate with production, R&D, and marketing teams to support new product development and enhance existing formulations.Oversee governance and control programs to ensure business continuity, safeguard company assets, and maintain compliance with corporate and regulatory policies.Manage additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the superior. RequirementsCandidates must hold at least a bachelor's degree or possess equivalent expertise, with a strong understanding of ERP systems.Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, HALAL, and ISO FSSC 22000 is an added advantage.Minimum of five years of experience in procurement within the FMCG industry, food manufacturing, or supply chain management.Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is required.Must be independent, capable of managing multiple stakeholders, and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
