Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinic Assistant to join our expanding team under SK Vital Healthcare Sdn. Bhd., a leading provider of primary care, occupational health, and corporate wellness services. You will play a vital role in supporting day-to-day clinic operations and ensuring a high standard of patient care and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care & Front Desk Support

  • Greet and welcome patients, creating a warm and comfortable environment.
  • Assist in patient registration, appointment scheduling, and coordination of follow-up visits.
  • Collect, verify, and record accurate patient health information and personal details.
  • Provide basic information and respond to general patient inquiries.

Clinical Support

  • Assist patients in preparing for physical exams and medical procedures.
  • Support doctors and nurses during examinations, minor procedures, and treatments.
  • Prepare and dispense medications under supervision (where applicable).

Medical Equipment & Cleanliness

  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of consultation and treatment rooms.
  • Clean, sterilize, and prepare medical instruments according to protocol.
  • Ensure all medical equipment is functional; promptly report any malfunctions.
  • Monitor and replenish medical and office supplies as needed.

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Assist with handling panel claims and coordinating with panel companies.
  • Collect, label, and prepare lab specimens for testing.
  • Adhere to clinic policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the doctor-in-charge or management team.

Job Requirements

  • Certificate in Patient Care, or Diploma in Healthcare, Medical Sciences, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience in a clinical setting is an added advantage (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
  • Good communication and multitasking skills.
  • Responsible, adaptable, and able to work independently and in a team.
  • Willing to learn and take initiative in a dynamic work environment.
