Job Description:

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the
Finance and Accounting Manager
plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our finance and accounting functions. This includes managing journal entries, accounts receivable and payable, financial systems, and related administrative duties. The Manager delivers timely reconciliations and financial reports, produces analyses to support decision-making, and maintains comprehensive fiscal records. As the go-to resource for invoicing, bill payments, revenue, and budgeting inquiries, the Manager also champions the adoption of financial software that optimizes processes and ensures financial data is both accurate and easily accessible across the organization.

Job Requirements:

·     Oversee and accurately process daily transactions, including accounts payable, receivable, cash receipts, credit card activity, and payroll.

·     Maintain full compliance with accounting standards and applicable laws and regulations.

·     Oversee and accurately process daily transactions, including, but not limited to, AP, AR, Receipts, Employees Expenses Claims

·     Prepare month-end journal entries and reconcile key balance sheet accounts to maintain accuracy in financial records.

·     Ensure proper and timely recognition of revenue and expenses.

·     Monitor liquidity by tracking cash and investment balances and preparing cash flow forecasts.

·     Maintain full compliance with GAAP standards and applicable laws and regulations.

·     Partner with the Director of Finance and budget managers to develop, monitor, and report on budgets at the departmental, project, and organizational levels.

·     Lead fiscal year-end close processes and coordinate with external auditors.

·     Maintain clear and consistent communication with the Director of Finance.

·     Champion process improvements by leveraging technology and training staff to optimize accounting systems.

·     Manage administrative duties, including state unemployment and income tax registrations.

·     Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support organizational priorities.

Desired Experience and Skills for the role:

·     Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; an MBA or other relevant advanced degree is highly preferred.

·     A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior role.

·     Proven experience in a high-growth, technology, or ad-tech company is highly preferred

·     Demonstrated experience in strategic financial planning, corporate finance, and managing a finance team.

·     In-depth knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and tax regulations, as well as Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (International) (SFRS(I)s)

·     Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

·     Proficiency in financial modeling, ERP systems, and business intelligence tools.

·     Proven track record of implementing best-in-class financial systems and processes.
