Role Overview
We are seeking an
ambitious, high-potential Junior Strategist
to work directly alongside the CEO. This is a rare, fast-track role designed for someone who has already demonstrated the ability to bridge the gap between
high-level corporate thinking
(gained from consultancy/MNC internships) and the
nimble execution of a startup
. You will be the CEO's right hand, tasked with driving critical research, executing priority projects, and ensuring strategic clarity across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Research & Analysis
Market Intelligence:
Conduct deep dives into competitive landscapes, market trends (e.g., in Fintech, EdTech), and potential expansion opportunities to inform executive decision-making.- Data Synthesis:
Translate complex internal and external data into clear, concise, and compelling presentations for the CEO, Board, and key stakeholders. Strategy Support:
Assist the CEO in modeling business scenarios, developing operational plans, and drafting foundational strategic documents.Cross-Functional Execution & Operations
Priority Projects:
Own and manage immediate, high-priority projects assigned by the CEO (e.g., launching a pilot partnership, optimizing an internal process, or coordinating an investor pitch).- Organizational Alignment:
Track key company objectives (OKRs/KPIs) and follow up with departmental leads to ensure projects are on schedule and aligned with the overarching business strategy. Communication Hub:
Serve as the CEO's central point of contact for sensitive external communications and key internal coordination efforts.Partnership & Business Development Support
Deal Preparation:
Support the CEO in preparing materials and conducting initial research for key business development, partnership, or investor meetings.- Process Improvement:
Proactively identify friction points within the company operations and propose
actionable, lean solutions
typical of a startup environment.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience:
Fresh Graduate or
up to 2 years
of total professional experience. - Hybrid Background (Essential):
- Internship Experience (minimum 6 months):
Must have held internships or trainee roles at a structured, reputable firm (e.g.,
Management Consultancy,
Corporate Bank, or MNC Management Trainee program). - Startup/SME Experience (minimum 6 months):
Must have experience (internship or full-time) in a high-growth, hands-on role within a
Startup, Fintech, or SME
(e.g., focusing on BD, Strategy, or People Management). - Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
