Tax Senior / Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review corporate, individual, and indirect tax filings.
  • Provide tax planning and advisory services to ensure compliance with Malaysian tax laws.
  • Implement strategies to optimize clients' tax positions.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to analyze financial data.
  • Stay updated on tax law changes and communicate them to clients.
  • Supervise and mentor junior tax professionals.
  • Contribute to the improvement of tax service offerings.
  • Liaises with tax authorities and external auditors.
  • Closely monitor of the tax submission timeline and direct report to the tax manager.

Requirements:

  • Degree in accounting, Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) with 4+ years of tax experience.
  • Deep knowledge of Malaysian tax laws and regulations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and client communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Superior TaxComp software is an added advantage.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach focused on quality service delivery.
  • Leadership, team management, tax planning and training competencies.
