Take Charge of These Key Areas

  • Managing full sets of accounts including GL, AP, AR, and payroll
  • Handling month-end and year-end closing activities with reconciliations and adjustments
  • Preparing and analyzing key financial reports: balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow
  • Assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and providing financial insights to support business decisions
  • Ensuring timely and accurate tax submissions (GST, SST, Corporate Tax)
  • Supporting internal and external audits with documentation and compliance
  • Analyzing company expenses to identify areas for cost improvement
  • Liaising with vendors and customers on invoicing, payments, and reconciliations
  • Maintaining internal financial controls and continuously improving processes
  • Using accounting software and Excel to streamline reports and enhance efficiency
  • Keeping up with Malaysian financial standards and regulations

The Talent Behind the Role

We're searching for someone who brings not just technical know-how, but also a proactive mindset and a collaborative spirit.

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of accounting experience (corporate setting preferred)
  • Solid understanding of Malaysian tax laws and financial reporting standards (MPERS/MFRS)
  • Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., Acumatica) and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks
  • Great communication skills for working across departments and with external stakeholders
  • Experience with audits and financial reporting is an advantage
  • Professional certifications (ACCA, CPA, or MIA) is a must.
