The PCBA Manufacturing Process Technology Staff Engineer will be a catalyst for technological transformation, driving innovation throughout the manufacturing process. This role demands a deep understanding of cutting-edge technologies and their application in PCBA assembly. By leveraging advanced automation, data analytics, and AI-powered tools, the engineer will optimize production for efficiency, quality, and scalability. They will be responsible for training and mentoring teams on emerging technologies, ensuring a smooth transition to new process technologies.
Key Job Accountabilities:
● Regarded as a "go to" technical specialist, leader and mentor within their Manufacturing discipline; and/or regarded as a cross-discipline leader and mentor for product / process development, process improvement or troubleshooting within site/ region, as it applies to their role.
● Serves as a technical and/or project team lead providing technical guidance/ training, controlling scope, schedule, budget and ensuring overall technical success on small to mid-size Plexus Manufacturing Processes, as it applies to their role.
● Leads continuous improvement activities associated with their engineering discipline and/or project-level tools or processes, as it applies to their role.
● Provides customer service leadership in project technical discussions, business continuity and new proposal creation.
Education/Experience Qualifications:
● A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or science is required; a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or higher is preferred.
● Minimum Eight (8) years of related experience is required.
● An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.
