About the role

As a Restaurant Supervisor ( Mandarin Speaker ) at HARMONY ADVISORS SDN. BHD.', you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our restaurant in Johor Bahru Johor. This full-time position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.

What you'll be doing

  1. Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the restaurant, including floor staff management, customer service, and inventory control
  2. Train, mentor, and supervise a team of restaurant staff to maintain high standards of service and food quality
  3. Assist in scheduling and managing staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours
  4. Liaise with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
  5. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback, and take appropriate action to resolve issues
  6. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and hygiene regulations
  7. Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to improve restaurant operations and profitability

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience in a restaurant supervisory or management role
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and staff
  3. Proficiency in both English and Mandarin, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service in both languages
  4. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think quickly and respond effectively to changing situations
  5. Familiarity with restaurant operations, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and financial reporting
  6. A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to providing a high-quality dining experience
