About The Role
We are looking for a highly creative and detail-oriented Editorial Content Writer to produce daily, SEO- optimized articles across our core content pillars. You will play a critical role in shaping our editorial voice, delivering engaging content that resonates with anime fans, pop-culture communities, and search-driven audiences.

This is a fast-paced, high-output role suited for someone who thrives on storytelling, research, and staying ahead of anime news and trends.
What You'll Do
Content Creation

  • Write daily long-form articles, including rankings, recommendations, listicles, explainers, reviews, and spotlight features.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and editorial quality across all published articles.

SEO & Performance

  • Conduct keyword research to identify high-value topics and ranking opportunities.
  • Optimize content for search intent, readability, competitiveness, and internal linking.
  • Monitor article performance (CTR, rankings, read time) and adjust content strategy accordingly.

Research & Trend Analysis

  • Stay updated with anime releases, streaming schedules, manga news, industry events, and community discussions.
  • Validate information through credible sources to ensure accuracy.
  • Identify emerging topics to support trend-driven content planning.

Editorial Workflow

  • Collaborate with the editorial lead to build and refine monthly editorial calendars.
  • Manage content drafts, revisions, and deadlines with consistency.
  • Ensure all content meets publishing standards including grammar, clarity, structure, and originality.

What We're Looking For

  • A strong writing portfolio, ideally featuring anime, pop culture, entertainment, or gaming content.
  • Ability to write quickly and consistently without sacrificing quality.
  • Proven experience with SEO writing, keyword tools, and content optimization.
  • Ability to research deeply and understand fan sentiment, tropes, and trends.
  • Comfortable producing content daily to meet publishing schedules.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience in digital media, editorial teams, or content agencies.
  • Familiarity with anime genres, fandom culture, and online community behavior.
  • Basic understanding of analytics tools (GA4, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush).
  • Comfort with image sourcing and simple visual storytelling concepts.
