Internship Overview

Are you passionate about using technology to solve real-world business problems? Do you get excited by the idea of eliminating tedious tasks and making work smarter? We are seeking a motivated and curious IT Intern to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be at the heart of our digital transformation initiatives, gaining hands-on experience in identifying, designing, and implementing solutions that automate processes, digitize workflows, and harness AI to boost productivity across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Under the guidance of our business support and marketing operations members, you will:

·  Process Analysis & Discovery: Collaborate with different departments to map existing "as-is" workflows and identify key areas for automation and improvement.

·  Solution Design & Development:

• Design, build, and test automated workflows using tools like Microsoft Power Automate, UiPath, Zapier, etc
• Develop simple digital forms and applications to replace paper-based or email-driven processes (e.g., using Microsoft Power Apps, Google AppSheet)
• Assist in creating and deploying chatbots for internal support (e.g., using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Dialogflow).

·  AI Tool Exploration & Implementation:

• Research, test, and evaluate emerging AI tools for productivity (e.g., AI-powered document summarization, data extraction, code assistants like GitHub Copilot).
• Support the integration of AI capabilities into existing business applications.
• Contribute to projects involving data analysis, visualization, and insight generation using AI-enhanced features in Microsoft Power BI or similar.

·  Documentation & Training: Create clear and concise documentation for developed solutions and assist in training end-users on new digital tools.

·  Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with teams from Operations, HR, Finance, and Marketing to understand their challenges and co-create solutions.

What We're Looking For (Qualifications)

Required Skills & Competencies:

·  Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.

·  A strong passion for technology and its practical application in a business environment.

·  Foundational understanding of programming concepts (e.g., Python, JavaScript, SQL) is a significant plus.

·  Familiarity with core productivity and collaboration suites (e.g., Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace).

·  Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.

·  Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

·  A self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Bonus Points (Nice-to-Haves):

·  Hands-on experience with any process automation platform (Power Automate, UiPath, Automation Anywhere, etc.).

·  Experience with low-code/no-code application development (Power Apps, AppSheet, Bubble).

·  Curiosity about AI and Machine Learning, with any prior exposure to AI APIs (OpenAI, Azure AI) or libraries.

·  Basic knowledge of data analysis and visualization.
