We are seeking an experienced credit professional ideally someone with strong
credit assessment
exposure and a few years as a RM who is now keen to step into a risk-focused, analytical leadership role. You will
lead a team of business analysts and play a key part in safeguarding the quality of the bank's lending portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of business analysts to monitor portfolios and identify
    Early Warning Signals (EWS)
    such as deteriorating financials, delinquency trends, and adverse market developments.
  • Collaborate closely with RMs and Credit Analysts to assess at-risk customers and recommend remediation or mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure
    timely and accurate reporting
    of watchlist accounts, EWS, and remedial cases to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Monitor portfolio trends, sector concentrations, and recovery performance; propose process enhancements to strengthen risk posture.
  • Oversee the management of distressed accounts, including
    restructuring, recovery planning, and exit strategies
    .
  • Partner with RMs to develop action plans for accounts showing vulnerability or early signs of stress.
  • Act as a key liaison between
    Business Units, Credit Middle Market, and Risk Management teams
    .
  • Participate in early alert and stakeholder meetings to discuss portfolio health, risk drivers, and key account developments.
  • Provide regular communication to senior management on emerging risks, sectoral vulnerabilities, and major exposures.
  • Offer guidance and training on
    credit risk assessment, workout strategies, and stakeholder management
    .
  • Foster collaboration with frontline teams to promote a culture of credit awareness and early risk detection.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or relevant disciplines.
  • Professional certifications such as
    CFA or FRM
    are an added advantage.
  • Minimum
    7 years' experience
    in credit risk, portfolio management, or related credit functions, with some team leadership exposure.
  • Strong analytical mindset with solid understanding of credit risk, financial statements, and market trends.
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong track record in stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Familiarity with
    restructuring, recovery strategies, and regulatory requirements
