About this role:

Responsible for supporting the planning, development, and execution of corporate and commercial events. This role requires strong proposal-writing skills, research capabilities, and the ability to liaise professionally with clients and vendors. The ideal candidate must be highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Roles & Responsibility

Event Planning & Coordination

  • Assist in developing event index, timelines, project flow, and production schedules.
  • Coordinate pre-event, on-site, and post-event logistics to ensure seamless execution.
  • Conduct venue inspections, prepare event checklists, and ensure all requirements are met.

Proposal Development & Research

  • Prepare compelling event proposals, decks, budgets, and creative concepts.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, venues, suppliers, and new creative ideas.
  • Support the development of pitching materials for internal and client presentations.

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Source and engage vendors such as AV teams, production crews, decorators, talents, printers, and logistics providers.
  • Manage project files, budgets, invoices, and approvals.
  • Support on-ground operations during setup, rehearsal, and event day.

To succeed in this role, we will need you to have:

  • Diploma or Degree in Event Management, Mass Communication, Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 1–3 years of working experience in event management, agency, or related industry.
  • Proven experience in proposal writing, index preparation, research, and client/vendor handling
  • Proven experience building excellent client relationships, offering value-added, insightful.

  • Strong organisational, multitasking, and time-management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Willing to work during weekends or odd hours when required for events.
  • Creative thinking with the ability to propose new concepts and ideas.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3, RM4,000.00 per month
