  1. Project Planning and Coordination

  2. Developing Project Plans: Create detailed project plans outlining tasks, timelines, resources, budgets, and key milestones.

  3. Scheduling: Manage and monitor project schedules to ensure that deadlines are met.
  4. Resource Allocation: Plan and allocate resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to meet project needs.
  5. Risk Management: Identify potential risks on-site and develop mitigation strategies.

  6. Project Budgeting: Oversee financial aspects, including cost estimation, tracking expenses, and ensuring the project stays within the allocated budget.

  7. Team Leadership and Communication

  8. Team Management: Direct and manage on-site construction teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.

  9. Communication: Serve as the main point of contact between the construction team, stakeholders, clients, suppliers, and any other parties involved.

  10. Progress Reports: Provide regular updates to senior management, clients, or stakeholders on project status, issues, and any changes to scope or schedule.

  11. Quality Control and Compliance

  12. Ensure Standards and Specifications: Monitor construction work to ensure it meets quality standards, safety regulations, and the specifications set by the client.

  13. Inspection and Testing: Conduct regular inspections and testing to verify compliance with codes, regulations, and safety protocols.

  14. Documentation: Maintain proper records, reports, and documentation of work completed, inspections, safety meetings, etc.

  15. Contract and Vendor Management

  16. Contract Management: Ensure all contractors and vendors meet project requirements and are adhering to contracts and timelines.

  17. Supplier Coordination: Oversee procurement of materials and equipment and manage supplier relationships to ensure timely deliveries.

  18. Problem Solving and Decision Making

  19. Troubleshooting: Address and resolve on-site issues related to delays, equipment failures, material shortages, or unexpected technical challenges.

  20. Decision Making: Make informed decisions on-site to keep the project on track, including changes in scope, reallocation of resources, or adjusting timelines.

  21. Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Management

  22. Safety Standards: Enforce health and safety regulations on-site to protect workers and avoid accidents.

  23. Compliance with Laws: Ensure the project complies with local environmental laws and industry regulations, particularly regarding waste management, air quality, and noise control.

  24. Project Close-out and Handover

  25. Final Inspections: Conduct final project inspections to ensure everything meets the requirements before handing over to the client.

  26. Documentation: Ensure all documentation, including drawings, as-built information, and warranties, are completed and submitted.
  27. Post-Project Review: Facilitate a review process to assess project success and lessons learned for future improvements.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Change Management: Handle changes in project scope, cost, or schedule, ensuring that they are properly documented and communicated.
  • Client Relationship: Maintain a positive relationship with the client, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction with the project's progress.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3, RM7,000.00 per month
