Grand Swiss-Belhotel Melaka is inviting dedicated and service oriented individuals to join our Front Office team as a Bellman. We are looking for candidates who take pride in providing excellent guest service and ensuring a warm and memorable experience for every guest.

Job Summary:

The Bellman plays an important role in creating a positive first impression for our guests. This position is responsible for assisting guests with luggage handling, providing information and support and maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere in the hotel lobby and entrance areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests upon arrival and assist with luggage handling and storage.
• Escort guests to their rooms while introducing hotel facilities and amenities.
• Provide information about hotel services, local attractions and directions.
• Assist with transportation arrangements and other guest requests.
• Deliver messages, packages and other items to guest rooms efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the lobby, entrance and baggage areas.
• Coordinate closely with the Front Office and Concierge teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Uphold the hotel's service standards and maintain a professional image at all times.

Requirements:

• Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is an advantage.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an added advantage).
• Pleasant personality, well groomed appearance and excellent customer service attitude.
• Physically fit and able to handle luggage safely.
• Willing to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1, RM1,800.00 per month
