Responsibilities & Authorities

· Responsible in the overall contract administration, including preparation of contract, project estimate and tender, monitoring and control of construction cost, negotiation with contractors and other relevant duties.

· Establish management's requirements and undertake feasibility studies

· Preparation of budget for project including preparation of Bills of Quantities and Cost Plan.

· To assist in the coordination with consultants on the preparation of tender document, tender drawings, specifications for calling of tender / tender exercise.

· To assist in the shortlisting and evaluation of cost proposals / tender submitted by consultants / contractors.

· To assist in the tender interview with contractors and cost negotiation sessions with consultants.

· To assist in the verification of contractors' claims and recommendation of payment amount for management's approval.

· To assist in the verification and recommendation of payment for consultant and contractor's claim.

· To assist in the finalization of accounts for project contract.

· To attend Client- Consultants Meeting as and when necessary for resolution of various contractual related issues.

· Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the management.

Requirements:

· Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Survey or equivalent.

· At least 2-3 year(s) of working experience in construction industry

· Able to work independently and good teamwork attitude.

· Optimistic, friendly, helpful, and proactive and take initiative to research issues, analytical and problem solving.

· Required skill(s): Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook).

· Proficient in written & spoken in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

· High level of attention to detail.

· Willing to travel and possess own transport.
