Job Summary:

The Site Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of tools, materials, and equipment to and from construction or project sites. The role includes assisting with loading/unloading, ensuring proper handling of items, and supporting basic site logistics when required.

Key Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Transport construction equipment, tools, and materials between storage facilities, workshops, and project sites.
  • Ensure all items are safely secured during transit and delivered in good condition.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspection and basic maintenance checks (fuel, oil, tire pressure).
  • Maintain cleanliness and serviceability of the vehicle at all times.
  • Follow designated routes and adhere to schedules as instructed by the Site Supervisor or TMO.
  • Assist in loading and unloading items when required.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Support site teams with basic logistical tasks, such as material arrangement or equipment handling.
  • Ensure delivery documents and logbooks are properly updated.
  • Report any issues, accidents, or vehicle damage immediately to the superior.
  • Comply with company safety regulations and road traffic rules.

Job Requirements:

  • Possess a valid driving license [e.g., GDL or E-license, depending on vehicle type.
  • Proven experience in driving light/heavy vehicles (such as lorry or van) for logistics or site work.
  • Physically fit and able to handle loading/unloading tasks.
  • Good attitude, punctual, responsible, and reliable.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance is an added advantage.

Job Type: Contract

Contract length: 24 months

Pay: RM1, RM2,400.00 per month
