About the role

MERDEKA NETWORK SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our team in Jalan Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time position responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping operations for our diverse client base.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, including invoices, receipts, and account reconciliations
  • Completing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for companies under us.
  • Assisting with tax planning and compliance, including the preparation of tax returns
  • Providing financial advice and recommendations to companies to help them achieve their business goals
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries and addressing any accounting-related concerns.
  • Collaborating with the wider team to identify opportunities for process improvements and enhanced service delivery
  • Prepared internal audit and ISO compliance

What we're looking for

  • Malaysian Only
  • A relevant accounting qualification and degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Fresh grads are welcome
  • OR 3 years of experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role, ideally within a professional services environment
  • Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in using accounting software, such as SQL and UBS
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships with clients.
  • A detail-oriented approach and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have own vehicle, a valid driving license and willing to travel when required.
