Job Responsibilities:

  • Review the contract documents for the M&E project.
  • Ensure compliance with the relevant health and safety legislation.
  • Check the sizing of M&E services.
  • On-site test supervision and reporting.
  • Conducting M&E facility inspections.
  • Monitoring the progress of works via building monitoring.
  • Compilation of records of on-site M&E activities, conditions and resources.
  • On-site preparation of project diaries.
  • Communicate issues and requests to the architect.
  • Issuance of construction instructions to the contractor for monitoring and evaluation as required.
  • Assist the Quantity Surveyor in recording measurements.
  • Attending and participating in design and site team meetings.
  • Planning the monitoring and evaluation work in progress.
  • Preparing the schedules of defects.
  • To perform the ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Superior.

Requirements:

  • Possess at least a Diploma in Mechanical & Electrical or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in site supervision.
  • Strong technical knowledge with proven troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities, with strong problem-solving skills when dealing with contractors and site issues.
