About the role

Ng & Partners' is seeking talented Audit Assistants and Audit Seniors to join our dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur. As an Audit Assistant or Audit Senior, you will play a crucial role in conducting external audits, ensuring the financial integrity and compliance of our diverse range of clients. This full-time position offers opportunities for professional growth and development within a reputable accounting firm.

What you'll be doing

  • Performing detailed audits of financial statements, accounts, and records to verify their accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
  • Analysing financial data, identifying potential risks and opportunities, and providing recommendations to clients
  • Preparing comprehensive audit reports, work papers, and other documentation to support audit findings
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and effective audit processes
  • Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices
  • Mentoring and training junior team members, where applicable

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Relevant experience in external auditing, preferably in a public accounting firm or similar environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and identify key financial trends and issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients and team members
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with audit software and tools
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and integrity
  • For Audit Senior roles, 3-5 years of post-qualification experience and proven leadership abilities
