Our client is seeking an Audit Assistant Manager to join their team

What you'll be doing?
  • Lead audit engagements: Ensure audit work is properly documented, aligned with objectives, and supports audit conclusions.
  • Review and quality control: Examine workpapers and reports prepared by team members, ensuring compliance with firm practices and international auditing standards.
  • Team management: Lead and supervise audit team members, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Project management: Ensure audits are completed within established deadlines, managing multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Strategic planning: Assist in planning and scoping audit engagements, contributing to the overall audit strategy.
  • Client communication: Engage with clients' Senior Management, Audit Committees, and Boards of Directors, presenting findings and recommendations.
Who are they looking for?
  • Accounting professional: Degree in Accounting (CGPA 3.0 and above) or professional qualification, demonstrating a strong academic foundation.
  • Experienced auditor: 4 to 7 years of solid working experience in audit, currently holding a Senior or Assistant Manager position.
  • Technical expert: Proficient in MFRS, MPERS, and ISAs, with experience in auditing PIEs and public listed companies preferred.
  • Bilingual communicator: Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, essential for effective client and team communication.
  • Problem-solver: Proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Team player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently when needed, adapting to various work situations.
