Job Description

  • Plan, manage, and lead an audit team to perform and deliver high-quality assurance and compliance work for a diversified portfolio of clients, including SMEs and PLCs.
  • Perform high-level reviews on high-risk companies to ensure audit working papers and reports comply with relevant standards and by-laws.
  • Monitor project timelines and work progress to ensure timely delivery of quality services.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients by developing and maintaining strong professional relationships.
  • Oversee team portfolio financials — including budgeting, WIP management, timely billing, and collections — to achieve performance objectives.
  • Coach, lead, train, and develop an effective audit team in both technical and non-technical areas.
  • Provide and seek solutions to challenges raised by team members.
  • Ensure client expectations, scope of work, and deliverables are met effectively and on schedule.
  • Manage and ensure compliance with requirements from Regulators (SSM, MIA, SC, AOB, Bank Negara).
  • Assist Partners and Management in firm operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related discipline and/or professional qualification (e.g. ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA, MICPA, CPA Aust., MBA).
  • Membership in professional bodies and MIA registration is an added advantage.
  • Minimum
    5 years of audit experience
    (experience using
    CCH Audit Software
    is an added advantage).
  • Strong knowledge of
    MFRS, MPERS
    , and
    International Standards on Auditing (ISAs)
    .
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong interpersonal, management, and leadership skills.
  • Able to balance multiple priorities and complete assignments within time, budget, and quality constraints.
