Our client is seeking an Audit Assistant to join their team

What you'll be doing?
  • Assist senior auditors: Work closely with experienced professionals on various audit assignments, learning industry best practices and honing your skills.
  • Manage small to medium audits: Take ownership of audit processes for companies across different industries, building your expertise and confidence.
  • Communicate key findings: Identify and relay important auditing and tax matters to managers and partners, developing your communication skills.
  • Handle tax documentation: Prepare, organize, and manage all tax-related documents, reports, and statements, gaining comprehensive knowledge of tax processes.
  • Apply industry standards: Familiarize yourself with and apply auditing, tax, and accounting standards in your daily work.
  • Contribute to team success: Perform additional duties as required, demonstrating your flexibility and commitment to the team's goals.
Who are they looking for?
  • Educational background: Candidates with a degree in Accountancy, pursuing a Professional Accounting Qualification, or holding a relevant Diploma are encouraged to apply. We welcome applicants from diverse educational paths
  • Professional certifications: Those with or pursuing ACCA, MICPA, CIMA, CPA, or ICAEW certifications are highly valued, but candidates without these are also encouraged to apply.
  • Independent worker: You should be comfortable working independently and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Software proficiency: Knowledge of audit or accounting software is beneficial, but not mandatory. We're looking for individuals eager to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Language skills: Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
