Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the field of accounting, audit and taxations. The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced accounting professionals and contribute to various financial projects.

During the internship period, you will be exposed to these areas:

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess or currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
  • Required skill(s): Accounting, Audit, Taxation.
  • Preferred skill(s): MS Excel.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • 6 Internship position(s) for duration of 3 - 6 month(s).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct detailed audit testing procedures in accordance with established guidelines.
  2. Assist in the examination of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  3. Collaborate with audit teams to document and assess internal controls.
  4. Participate in the planning and execution of audit engagements.
  5. Analyze financial data, identifying trends and anomalies to support the audit process.
  6. Assist in preparing audit reports and communicating findings to senior team members.
  7. Contribute to risk assessment processes and recommend improvements to internal controls.
  8. Perform substantive audit procedures on various accounts and transactions.
  9. Work closely with clients to gather necessary audit evidence and address inquiries.
  10. Gain exposure to industry-specific audit considerations and regulations.
  11. Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of assigned projects.
  12. Gain exposure to various accounting software and tools.
  13. Assist in the analysis of financial data and trends.
